Bambutec designed and built the bamboo stuctures of the sporting event Rio Summer Games to Rio de Neg\u00f3cios customer, with the sponsorship of telephone company Oi and Incentive Program to Sport of the State of Rio de Janeiro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The temporary structure was installed in the City of Rio de Janeiro during the years of 2015-2018, on location at Arpoador, Madureira, Barra da Tijuca, Joatinga, Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas, S\u00e3o Conrado, Leblon, Ipanema, Copacabana, B\u00fazios, Ilha do Governador, and Niter\u00f3i.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The construction solutions employed detailing for different soil types: asphalt, stone, earth, grass, and sand, forming a technical collection suitable for creative assemblies, with safety and low ecological impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our team designed nomadic structures from bamboo poles and textile membranes with selective permeability, ie. impermeability to rain and permeability to the passage of air, technically appropriate for the tropical climate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bambutec developed tents, space frames, displays, and supports with the concepts of self-supporting, biomimetics, and permeability, creating innovative structures for uses connecting the city with nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
